By accessing or using PawTrait AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PawTrait AI. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Credits & Payments

• Credits are required to generate portraits and video messages. New users receive a welcome bonus of 10 free credits.
• Credit purchases are non-refundable once credits have been consumed.
• Unused credits do not expire while your account remains active.
• We reserve the right to change credit pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PawTrait AI to:

• Upload images containing illegal content or content that violates the rights of others.
• Generate content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process your images solely to provide the Service.

Generated content: Upon generation, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use, download, and share the generated portraits and videos for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use requires a separate written agreement.

Our platform: All software, designs, and trademarks associated with PawTrait AI remain our exclusive property.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our portraits and videos are created by AI models and may not be perfect. Results can vary based on photo quality, lighting, and subject. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Generated content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawTrait AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
